The repo publishes a shared Forgejo API contract that others are expected to implement against, so it wants an explicit licence with a patent grant rather than the MIT used elsewhere in the org.

  • LICENSE: canonical Apache 2.0 text, taken verbatim from /usr/share/common-licenses/Apache-2.0 rather than reproduced, 202 lines, unmodified including the appendix template.
  • NOTICE: copyright 2026 Raster & State LLC, matching the company attribution used in rasterstate/cache-action (rasterstate/fj uses a personal one; company was chosen deliberately for a patent-granting licence on a shared contract).
